Cricket and I went to the hospital tonight to visit some friends that had a baby boy today! While we were there we decided to pre-register for when the baby comes and man am I glad we did. I really hate it for those women who don't pre-register and they have to sit there and fill out all of that paper work while having contractions!
First you start out in the ER they ask you for your insurance card and ID. Then they ask you a million questions. Most of my questions were just about updating my info because I was just in the hospital back in August. If you haven't been there before it would be a lot of info answer. After you answer all of the questions and sign all of the papers for yourself and the baby you have to take the paperwork to the second floor of the women's center. When you get over there they ask you a million more questions and they get your finger prints and more signatures. CRAZINESS!!! Now all I have to do when we go to the hospital is go to the women's center. Thank goodness!
So if you are having a baby please make sure you pre-register!
